Chris DeCamillis, Jeweler and Engraver
Christian DeCamillis has over 40 years of experience as a jeweler and over 20 years as an engraver. In Italy, Chris received advanced training at the renowned Botega Giovanelli studio where he studied under Master Engraver Dario Cortini. He worked under Italy’s Creative Art and has taken instruction from Philippe Grifnée of Belgium and Ken Hunt of England.
As a teacher, Chris helped launch Emporia State University’s engraving degree program and has taught engraving at all levels in the United States and Europe. Chris published two DVDs, Basic Technique for Bulino Engraving and Bulino Techniques for Landscape. He also invented the EnSet Hand Engraving and Stone Setting machines and has designed a variety of other tools.
