Shaping Tools for Scrolls and Designs Summer 2018

Scroll Pattern by Tira

This course is for jewelers and engravers who already have basic engraving skills and are comfortable working with tools.

Tira will focus on shaping and sharpening the right tools for the job, transferring patterns to your work and executing scroll work onto metal.  Learn intertwining elements, principals of basic scroll design and how to cut for both stand alone and background removed designs.

Experience working with modern pneumatic tools and a microscope to shorten your learning curve and improve the quality of your work!

Follow-up with the instructor after the course to answer questions and make sure the fundamental techniques stick with you!

Please Note: People who want to register must first talk to the instructor about their skill level before they can officially register to make sure the class is appropriate for them.
